Really interesting controls with with this one! A welcome twist to the typical maze-like games. Also I really like the animation on the menu screen, how it turns into the gameplay! Very nicely done!!
I was gonna comment on difficulty curve, since this does seem VERY difficult for a level 1. But then I noticed you said there's only one level so in that case, I think it's fine. Within the level itself, you do a good job starting easier and then ramping it up. But if you ever expand this game, I'd deffs consider making some easier levels before the one you currently have.
Also nice placement of checkpoints. MUCH appreciated. Especially after that part with multiple spikes in each column :P

Since I'm a unity/programming beginner, getting checkpoints and appearing blocks to work was a big win for me for sure.
When I revisit this game someday, I definitely will revisit difficulty with additional levels!
